A Classic American Tavern And Brasserie
Opened in July 2012 by brothers Glen and Kyle Kristenbrun, Museum Tavern has quickly established itself as one of Toronto's newest exciting hotspots. The Tavern is perched on the 2nd floor at 208 Bloor Street West, just steps away from upscale Bloor St. shops, as well as the popular Annex and Yorkville neighborhoods. Our patio boasts one-of-a-kind views of the historical Royal Ontario Museum, Philosopher's Walk, and Royal Conservatory of Music.

About Us
The Vibe
Museum Tavern is a vibrant and bustling bistro. Checkerboard tiled floors, antique copper ceilings, oxblood banquettes, bentwood chairs, and marble tables embody the look and feel of the classic American Tavern. Our separate dining and bar rooms provide a lively atmosphere for everyone to enjoy quality products and excellent service.

The Drinks
With its 25 foot copper bar, penny-tiled floors, and antique gaslight chandeliers, Museum Tavern is very much an ode to the Great American Bar. With a dedicated focus on providing quality products, we offer the finest selection of spirits and craft Beers, a carefully selected wine list, not to mention a wide variety of single malt scotches. Our team of professional bartenders provides expertly executed oak-aged, signature, and seasonal cocktails.

The Food
The menu at Museum Tavern reflects a modern and elevated approach to American comfort food. With an emphasis on sustainable local products, Head Chef Stephen Gouzopoulos has crafted an approachable and creative menu. All menu items are made from scratch, and game meat is butchered in house. Pastry Chef Cora James bakes all breads and desserts fresh daily and in house.
